SAMRIDH Accelerator Program

Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development and Growth

A 4-Month Acceleration Program in collaboration with the MeitY Startup Hub, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

The Government of India has launched a comprehensive initiative to foster innovation and support start-ups through its Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH) program, addressing the need for an accelerator program that drives social impact and scales solutions for India's challenges. The program aims to support 300 tech Start-Ups in 3-year duration with cohort size of 5-10 Start-Ups.

SAMRIDH Program is conceptualized and being implemented for extending acceleration services to start-ups along with matching contribution support of up to ₹40 lakh.

 
Focus Areas: MedTech, HealthTech, CleanTech & Other Emerging Technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

    1. Startup should be DPIIT Registered
    2. At least 51% of the company should be owned by Indian nationals & Women Founder
    3. Technology and knowledge-based startups
    4. At MVP / Early revenue stage
    5. Looking to raise / currently raising investment
    6. SAMRIDH investment funds will only be released upon confirmation of the startup's successful VC/Angel fundraising.

     

SAMRIDH Accelerator Program

  1. Expert diagnostic sessions for market research and product positioning. 
  2. Mentoring Startups through experts on the basis of tech verticals. 
  3. Legal Assistance for all matters: IP, Compliances, and others. 
  4. Connected learning, networking through a shared platform. 
  5. Co-learning, Weekly meets between founders of all startups. 
  6. Demo Day: Presentation with VCs and angel investors. 
  7. Assistance to startups in negotiating and closing investment deals with VCs and angel investors.
